In addition to the hot meals, Masbia also offers raw grocery food to take home. Some mothers would find it more dignified to cook for their children at home rather than to serve them in a public kitchen. There are also times that we are closed, and our guests might want to have something in the house. The food is allocated based on family size and the client gets to make their own choice on the types of food they will take home. In order to keep the integrity of the dining room, we are installing 10 wooden custom made display cases that will hold huge quantities of those raw groceries. Each dedication will sponsor one shelving case. In addition to being inscribed on the dedication wall, you will be able to have this dedication visible on the shelving case.We call this “Shever Raavon Bateichem” based on the biblical story where Joseph The Righteous told his brothers to take food to their home during the great famine (Beresheis 42:19).
